He's nice guy, actually got me started with my own racing carreer a couple years ago as my first PCA driver's ed. instructor. He took me on my first hot laps around PRI and showed me what my car could really do. What are the details of the build-up?

The Bayside team was a class act. One of the first sportscar races I ever attended was at Elkhart Lake in 79. I took this photo and to this day it is one of my favorites.

URY, that is a good one. "Track cleanup...aisle 3......."
![]() Your hobby is, under PelParts hobby listing: Hobbies: Changing sawzall blades. I am concerned....... Here are the rest of his creds. RSRs, 935s, 962s.....the kind of stuff that gives wood to Porsche guys. "Another stint with Bayside Motorsports for more than six years gave Chris an opportunity to bring Porsches, such as the RSR, 935, 924 GTR and 962 to the winner's circle on the IMSA GTP Circuit. Chris was responsible for preparing John Paul Jr's engines when he won the championship in 1982." CEGER, that is a great pic you took - I'll show it to Chris on Monday. My 3.4: 3.4 10.5:1 compression Twin plug Extrude Hone MAF Steve W chip Pauter rods (w/upgraded bolts of course) Flowed heads B&B or GHL headers with heat (WA State, brr) Super C2 cams Botatailed case & knnife edged crank cross drilled RSR clutch I plan to do the internals 'all the way' for future induction changes (read MOTEC, etc) Stay tuned in a week or so for progress reports and future plans. Testing to follow..... Craig

I don't know if Steve W has a twin plug chip in the works yet.

BTW I had a friend on John Paul Jr's team when they won the championship. He said the fuel cell could expand too larger then the rules allowed so on long races they could get by with less stops.
And JP Sr. is in prison for life, what goes around, comes around. Paul
