I don't think anyone would tailgate you with those flames coming out of the rear.

I have some cool photos of my C2T spitting out flames like that at Road Atlanta from a few years ago. Although it looks cool, it is not set up right. Flames are caused by unburned fuel that ignites when it hits the hot exhaust. Fast, yes, but not 'correct' per say. On a properly set up race car you will see a 'spits' of flames on throttle release, but never a super long one (as far a time goes).

But, still cool looking....

Correct, the early 934's/ 935's were flamed due to very overrich conditions on the CIS and MFI cars to prevent detonation, but on EFI cars, don't see as much if tuned right, except off throttle

Before proper tuning

After tuning

Some extreme flamage on the track of the early factory 935

The cherry exhaust looks spectacular but to me would seem to be a fire hazard and indicate a problem of some sort.
There is no way the exhaust system could stand that abuse for long. Engine life is surely short as well.

Nothing like the exhausts on Eddie's car indeed Jeremy. His must be something like Poorboy's twin turbo

Cheers,

Ed
