Question What the &&^$*# is WWW.FARK.COM - they crashed my server!!!

http://www.fark.com - Link to the thread about the Honda being impaled - 17,000 people viewed it within about a half-hour and brought this entire server down.

???

Had me thinking we were under attack from someone who didn't like me!

Remember that video of the guy destroying the 911? I hosted it on my site, and flowed 150Gb of traffic in a day and a half. Cost me $4400 in bandwidth overages!

wow... you got linked by 'fark'.

nice move with the referrer check, polite message to farkers, and bounce to the driveworks site.

wayne, i guess you gotta ask yourself if bouncing to 'driveworks' is worth the cost of the bandwidth.

www.fark.com is a news site for people who don't really want the news. Lots of the geeks here that I work with watch fark for news of the odd, weird, off the wall, etc.... When people find cool or interesting links they submit them to fark
