Too bad you can't see that when it's installed! I can't wait to see your results.

No one seems to Understand me, I know I need help...... ![]() ![]() JonT The spool is designed to lock the rear wheels together -much like a limited slip differential acting to its maximun locking potencial. The theory is, this 'weapon" will help us getting to the next level.

I had a spool on a 11sec mustang with 4:11 gears. Wait till you try to take a turn.

Wow - looks impressive - course it could be a battle star death ray or Paris Hilton's vibrator attachement and I wouldn't know the difference.

Well Juan, looks like you've finally gone over the edge.
A 911 with a spool has got to be unstreetable. What are your plans in that regard?

I don't know how much front castor you can adjust with the stock suspension but you better run as much as you can to help it turn! parking lot turning will be a beeech.
Am I assuming correctly that an added benefit (besides being locked) is less power loss compared to turning a regular diff? Last edited by Natchamp; 01-30-2004 at 08:35 PM.. |

Rarly is right, it will be nearly undriveable on the street. Wouldn't be my choice. Its going to eat tires. Every time you take a turn, one of the rear wheels is going to be leaving tire marks from one tire getting chewed up. You could accomplish the same thing by simply welding your diff. to lock it.
