Fuch 6/7 offset
Can someone tell me the offset for 16" fuchs. I have the 6" front and 7" rears and I'm looking at fims with an offset of 52 mm so I want to know what size spacers I would need to factor into the cost of the new rims.
Thanks for your help. The fuchs are factory standard on a 82 SC. Michael

16x6 Fuchs offset is +36mm
911/930 & 951 (looks like a 16x6 w/countersunk lug holes) 16x7 Fuchs offset is +23.3mm

So then, for 52mm offsets, I would need the following minimum spacers agreed?
Front: 52 - 36 = 16 mm =>> .63" Back: 52 - 23.3 = 28.7 mm =>> 1.14"

Quote:
If the +52mm wheel is also 6" wide yes, it needs a 16mm spacer but if the +52mm wheel is 7" wide then the correct o/s is ~+24mm which means it wants around a 28mm spacer.

You are correct in your assumption that the front is 7". How did you come about your formula to know how much more offset to add?

If you understand what o/s is everything else is simple arithmetic

Since my rear tire to be is 8" (currently 7"), then I would assume that I need a ~37 mm spacer? Don't have my calculator handy but that seems like a pretty big spacer for the rear. It's a street application but am I pushing the bounds.

Assuming the 8" wheel has the same +52mm o/s then you need a 41.4mm spacer in the back becaise correct o/s there for an 8 is 10.6mm. Yes, that is quite large
