Beast TT Dyno Run #1

Hey guys, it's been a while. I've been teaking this, adjusting that, fixing the trandicular transducer transfibulator, etc. Anyways, I finaly took it to the dyno so I could adjust the fuel curve and get O2's right throughout the load and rpm ranges. It's not earth shattering yet but it's good progress. I've still got some work to do on the ignition maps to get the turbos to spool quicker down low. With the standard 15% drivetrain considered it translates to 464hp and 501lbs of torque.

Insane! Must be a blast to drive. Congrats!

What is your horsepower goal? You sound like you're disappointed with 465bhp.

Thanks all. Adam, my current goal is 500 to the wheels but I'm not all that hung up on it. Torque is where its really at in my book. cheers.

300 ft-lbs of torque at only 3000 rpms. Haha, and guys say the 3.6 makes torque.

You're my idol, Hargett!!!! That is so sweet.

Mark, that is as always sweet as can be.

I'd love to put something similar in an early narrow long hood with nothing but maybe a ducktail. The ultimate sleeper monster.

Didn't you use Garrets T04's on that baby?

Great numbers! I always thought the HP and Torque intersect at 5250 rpm on dyno charts. Am I wrong?

Nader, I've seen that before too. I think its a general thing and not universal. I think I do have a problem with the torque falling off so much, not sure why at the moment.

AMEN BROTHER!

I feel very bummed out everytime I see pictures of that machine.
Good lord, what an engine.

Mark, how far away are you from Montana?

Actually, torque & horsepower will always be equal at 5252 RPM by definition. HP = (RPM * TQ) / 5252. The scaling for the HP & TQ curves are different, as you can see by the numbers on the left of the chart. If they were shown at the same scale the curves would cross at 5252. Anyways, enough boring math!

Great job Mark. I'd love to see your car in person sometime. Wanna race? So where'd you get it dynoed? I've never tried a Mustang dyno yet, only DynoJet's so far.

Cheers,

the pic of the engine...it's...oh...so...beautiful!

then the dyno shows the car rightfully deserves its name.
