Is there CV rebuild tech article?

I want to disassemble and inspect my CV's before I go out and buy new ones. My car has 125k miles and original CV's (date code is 03/82).

Is there a tech article somewhere? I didn't see one on the host site and searching within the BBS is tough because you cannot search by "CV" so I tried joint, constant, etc.

I am mostly concerned about orientation of parts, grease apcking methods, and reassembly tricks.

Thanks.

Here's a good place to start:

CV Joints

When you get to the last post by Warren/Early_S_Man, make sure to use his links! Those pages he posted from an older Bentley manual are perfect.

edit:

Try some different search terms because I know i've replied to alot of topics about the CV joint subject.

Try a search on all forums with: CVjoints, no space between CV and joints.
