adding a return line...

as most of you know I'm building "mutt".

I need to run a fuel return line from the FPR to the fuel tank...do you think I can just run it up to the vent and in that way? I don't think it'll hurt anything...but I'm not really sure, so I'm asking.

What exactly are you building? I have a 912 with a 2.7 and I ran the return line from the engine into a hole in the tunnell in front of the tranny, then used a snake to get the line through the tunnell and out the hole in the bottom of the cubby in the trunk. It turned out pretty nice.

subaru powered 912. flat fours are cool...esp the turbo ones.

I need to run a line back into the fuel tank. if you have a part number for the piece that goes in the other bung, or if you just used another fuel pickup...

I can get the line from front to back okay...just need an idea or three to actually put it into the tank.

I thought about running into the vent hose area.
