1985 Carrera Dashboard Question
Hi guys,
Im looking to take out my dashboard completely to fit a new dashtop. So far ive managed to take off the dash lower section but still have all the clocks in place and unfortunately the top. Can anyone please tell me where the bolts are located / and or how to remove the rest of the dash section. All help gratefully received. |

Why do you want to remove the whole dashboard? Remove the windshield then remove just the dash pad. there is tons of excellent info on this subject in past threads. Do a little research. Good luck.

Check the 101 Projects book for this. The "dash" is really not removable itself, the top has several bolts, most accessible from the trunk area, and then several screws holding down the front edge that are only removable after popping out the glass. Stop now and find out what you need to do before going further-this is diy'able, but not on a "wing it" basis.
