speedometer is oily on the inside.

ok, i posted this before. oil inside my speedometer. someone suggested the seal at the speedometer cable must me leaking and allowing tranny juice to be pushed into my gauge. i didnt have my jack, so i took the gauge out and diconnected the mechanical cable. lo and behold, there was nasty oil in the shaft! is the seal at the output, where the cable attaches, accessible with the tranny in the car? is it the same hell as the shift shaft seal? (done that one) i cant even find the part on the PP website. what do i do gurus?

could also be that someone just went crazy lubing the cable. Try cleaning it off (should leave a light layer of lube on it) reinstall the cable and see if the problem continues.
