Carrera Script & SCWDP Questions
Could someone with Photoshop or similar skills add black Carrera script to the side of my car. I'm thinking of adding it, but not certain how it will look with the shark fins. Conversely, has anyone tried to remove them without damaging the paint?
Second question, and this may be an old one, but where do Carrera 3.0's fit within the whole SCWDP and Carrera battle. I assume that as it has a 3.0 with CIS that essentially became the SC motor (I'm aware of the different crank etc) that it fits into the SCWDP paradigm? ![]()

I have a friend selling a 74 2.7 Carrera tail in Sydney - same shape as yours but, IMO, prettier because it has the body colour wing bit and then a black rubber edge. Let me know.

Heat the dorsal fins with a hair dryer to soften the adhesive and it should peel off the car. Goof Off should remove the remaining adhesive, if not try a damp, not wet lacquer thinner rag.

Thanks for the feedback and compliments guys.
Cool, will now have to get the SCWDP t-shirt and window sticker! Hmmm, early opinion seems to be leave it as it is. I've always been a bit 50/50 on this. The script was an OE item so taste becomes a personal thing - don't necessarily think it can be classed as bad. I do lean toward leaving it as it is, but would like to see what it looked like though. obrut, thanks for the offer and I agree the earlier 'colour' tail does look better, but would prefer a set of 8 x 16's as a cosmetic upgrade first! In fact, now that I have the oil cooler issue resolved, this will be my focus once I sort out a few of the oil leaks.
