just got the bentley manual and discovered this switch.
my question....does it have a function if the o2 sensor is disconnected? ![]() ![]()

Jason,
I think that the switch is useless w/ o2 sensor disconnected. As an aside, when I was runnning the o2 sensor I had some problems w/ stalling when the revs dropped- it turned out that switch wasn't being tripped. Adjusting it fixed the problem. |

"When the engine is cold" implies open loop operation, before the O2 sensor is up to operating temp. The Open loop duty cycle is fixed at 65% (for 81-83), so momentarily bumping it up to 75% will make it a little richer off idle. Tom |
