Real quick 964 issues...

I'm looking at 964s and may/may not sell the 84 after I get one, but for a recap, the issues I am looking for are records of the cylinder head oil leak, and dual mass fly wheel--what else?

By this time in their life cycle all the 964's with those problems shoud have corrected those 3 main problems. Its not worth looking at ones that have not had those issues addressed unles you price that in.

Valve guides.

92 & newer C2's have 4 piston rear brakes. Not that it's really that big of an issue, but the 4 bangers are cooler.

I say go for it Kurt. 964's rock and the prices are looking very reasonable nowadays.

All the other 911 issues from valve guides to head studs are potential issues. There is no guarding against them save by a competent PPI.
