Problem with Idle

Hello,

My 1980 911 SC (CIS) is behaving strangely.
after starup (a minut or 2, once the engine is not completly cold), it idle properly at around 800...

however, as the temperature increses, the Idle speeds increses too! at "fully warmed" temperature (top of the bottom white part in the temperature gage), it idle at around 1200, and after a good highway drive, when the temperature needle is around mid range, it idle at nearly 1800rpm....

does anyone have a idea of why, if it is a problem, and how to fix it?

regards, cyrille

Possible that your aux air slide got disconnected or you may not be getting juice at the connector on that unit that's bolted to #5 manifold.
