I have a couple of questions for installing my new carpet:
What's the best process in removing the old adhesive from the sheet metal and sound deadening material.? How do you attach the front left and right carpet pieces? ie do I need to pull out the weather stripping (near the door hinge)? Pulling the old carpet out of these seams was difficult and I don't know how I will put the new carpet in at the weather stripping. What's the best adhesive to use when I put the new carpet in? Thanks for all your help. Zac

You can use the 3M adhesive remover or diluted paint thinner (which is basically what the 3M stuff is) and a scotch bright sponge. I also found a plastic spackle knife to be useful.
