Bilstein retaining nut problem!!

Hi guys, I recently bought a set of front bilstein inserts for my 86 Carrera with boges, but the retaining nut that came with the shocks is for the internal threaded strut housings, and my strut housings are the externally threaded ones. Where can I buy a set of the proper nuts? Does anyone know if there is any washer or spacer needed also?
Thanks!

Weird, mine came with both inside and outside nuts. Were the boxes open?

Yes, they were but I bought these off a friend of a friend for $50 for the pair! Brand new, but open boxes.

Mike, I'd contact them direct, I'm sure they would send you a couple for a fair price & you'd still be a couple hundred dollars ahead.

Yep, I agree, call the 800#.

Bilsteins used to come with a tool for tightening that top nut, but they quit sticking it in the boxes. When I got mine I called the 800# and they shipped me the tool for free.
