2.7l Internals

Will all 2.7L 911S internals fit into a 2.2 or 2.4 aluminum case?
What will the compression be?
anyone....

yes they will fit. the 2.2 and 2.4 have magnesium cases, not Al. Compression will be determined by the piston and heads you choose. the stroke on a 2.7 crank is the same (70.4mm) as the 2.4, no increase in CR. The stroke is longer than a 2.0 or 2.2 crank (66mm). You may noticed above a point increase in CR but have to machine pistons to make it work.

2.7 911S internals will be based on CIS pistions and cams, not a good choice for a high output engine. you could keep the crank and rods.
