Curious, what is the RHD car next to your Targa?

Nice Targa btw!

Which brand of sheepskins do you have? I like the look of those.

I don’t know the brand as I purchased them used. They are comfortable and cool however.

5 years on

Got my 1980 Targa 5 years ago, and been having a great time with it

As purchased in 2012

After adding rear 16x8 Fuchs, Euro H-4's, LED 3rd brake light, chin spoiler, Bilstein struts and shocks, turbo tie-rods, WEVO shifter and coupler, new distributor, engine sound pad, door stays, windshield and seal (and a little rust fixing), targa top refurbish, seals and weather stripping, powder coated roll bar, re-anodized emblems, new stereo and a lot of other little things...

...it's definitely in better shape than when I got it. Car is now at 180000 km's and running great with the original CIS. An engine and transmission rebuild may be in the future, but for now, why mess with it? Still want to do all the bead seals, refurbish the seats, fuse box conversion, etc. etc.

To me, this would look really good with a brushed stainless targa bar. You should pick up a spare one and hit it with some scotch brite and see what you think!
