side flag/style 911 side mirror placement

help guys,... so my car is done, i went to the shop and the mirrors arent on, and i am updating my mirrors with flag style side view mirrors, the holes i have arent matching up, SOOOO

so im asking a favor, can you guys post any close-up pictures of side virew mirror placement on both sides from your cars? i need to get an idea,..... kinda need them asap.

As you can see, the mirror is significantly farther back and a little bit higher up on the passenger side.

Pretty sure that if you look on th inside of the doors there are small locator "divots" that are drilled depending on where the mirror is going and if it is for a RHD or LHD these identify exactly the correct location for the "flag" and "durant" mirrors.

Good point. I have fiberglass doors, and my mirrors might not be in exactly the factory locations.

(Never thought my feet would show. Judging by the reflection in the far lower left, one of them has about 17 toes. Next time I'll put on some shoes. )
