Question removal of rear blower and conversion to pre '74 thread missing... Help Please!!

Hi - I'm in the processs of removing the rear blower - converting to earlysystem- SSI's already in place and I have the two triangular metal pieces that bolt on each side of the fan shroud that the hoses attach to -

http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911E_catalog.htm

But I can't find it

Also there is a part list for the conversion

I can't tell what these parts are and if I need them all -0 surely I just need the two pieces I've got??? I want to check before starting so the car isn't laid up..

Please advise

Cheers - Tony

you may not need the entire parts list on your 75. i just did my 78sc and did not need many of the parts shown on the parts lists. the rightside portion off the fan shroud i did need all of that. i did not need all the tin that runs along the valve covers, or the two small "hole" pieces that allow the hose to run through to the exchangers. the stock left side piece off the fan shroud i did use, but i could have bushed down the original one to accept the hose that runs to the exchangers.

heat backdate install direction

there is the last of my threads on the job. notice the parts in the exploded view

I just did this on my 76 and I only needed the two triangular plates you describe as already having. The replacement pieces for the engine tin are not necessary and neither are any of the special screws, nuts, plugs, etc. described in the parts list above. The hardest part about this project will be fitting the driver side plate to clear the distributor.
