How much power can a 2.4 case take ?

If a 2.4 case is prep'd right, how much power can you give it reliably ? In a dream situation consider it may have turbos or a supercharger on it. Just wondering, if anyone knows?

there are lots of factors here. no one number, NA versus turbo are different stresses. I don't think enough people have done turbos on 2.4 cases to get good data, but feel free to post if you have! I would bet the engine otto speaks of is NA. probably 2.8 or so.

That was a 2.9 liter motor that ran in Checkbook Chuck's GT-2 SCCA race car. It was 93/70.4, single plug, crankfire, 46 webbers with the tall PMO manifolds, expensive headers and Phase Nines. Chuck still holds the lap record @ Willow Springs in the GT-2 class SCCA.
