Vertex Auto engines
Has anyone here purchased a rebuilt engine from Vertex Auto? If so how was the quality, service, and would you recommend them again?

I had a rebuilt tranny done by them on my 86 Cab.
They are ok but not great!. They are cheap and of value, but I would not say they are not the best around. The tranny worked fine for the further 1-2K miles i put on it. The main guy there (Guiberto I think) has good work ethics and I believe will not screw you over, but they are not the cleanest most meticulous mechanics i.e if you have a white interior- do not let them have the car! Hope this is of help Rgds Ben

They stand behind their work, and that is good.

It's not terribly polite to post about other retailers on this forum, since it's hosted by a retailer. Sorry.
