Testing New Firewall!!!

I have a box that I've had for almost 8 months now that has never quite worked right. This firewall box has cost almost as much as some cars. Needless to say, I think I may finally have this thing working right (after numerous BUG fixes from the manufacturer).

It seems to be working now (after that brief outage where I switched cables and rebooted the CISCO router). Please let me know if you can see this. This upgrade is good for all, as it creates a very good barrier against attacks. Sometimes, such a good barrier that I can't even log into the machine myself!

I had a problem with Macintoshes the last time I tried to roll this out. If you have a Mac, and all looks okay, please, please let me know...

Thanks,

Wayne

Kind of funny, but I was in "car mode" when I read the subject line and was wondering exactly how you would be testing the firewall in your recently purchased 911. Just be careful with the flamethrower near the paint!

Looks good on on this Mac.
OS 10.3.5 if that matters.

What is a mac? Isn't that the type of computer typically owned by Kia owners?

Looks ok on my iMac running OS 10.2 with an IE 5.2 browser.

Although, Loren's aftermarket chip ATTACKS are still getting through!

Wayne,

I have noticed some loss of connections to the server today and yesterday, while posting, etc. I assume it should all be good now.

If you need any firewall or network help, fly me down there and I'll work for beer and spare parts

I'd love James to get the trip, commaradararararie (or something like that ), cold beers, and all, but I'll save you the ticket with telnet and ssh. But being an MIT alumni who wrote your own website, I'm guessing you probably don't need much help.

Wayne, did you remove the sound deadning from the firewall?
and how much weight did you loose by doing so?

Must be a NetScreen or a PIX. Let me know when you get tired of the outages and I can hook you up with a real FW,
