that says it all. Run from this car. My experience, though far from vast, ok, downright minimal, is that concours cars are welll preserved costmetically, not mechanically, and not driven hard or as much as they were meant to be, meaning you will have the nicest looking car at the shop a lot.

at 60K you may also wake up in the next 20K miles and need new valve guides.

BWW, stay off the coffee for a while, or at least until you get a car. The hyper-stimulation is incredible.

Yeah, seems the track cars are better maintained mechnically and more challenged cosmetically and the garage queens are just the opposite.

Drive the car yourself and do a PPI!!!!!! Don't let that little dent and our stupid opinions hinder YOUR decision.

It's your money and YOU and YOU alone will be driving this car.

In my very novice opinion, 3 hours worth of careful work with a pin spot welder, slide hammer, prep, and paint. $500 is what I would have estimated also, with a good shop doing the work.

Scott.

Use the ding to your advantage and use it as a bit of a bargining tool to get the price a bit lower.

Don't let it turn you off the car its nothing, just take it to a good body shop and get it removed.
