Yep, Tyson is the best.
I am using the direct-replacement H4 units that do not change the appearance of the car. I'm using 11w highs, which make nighttime into daytime, but I'd like to go even brighter. My relays can handle that, but my wiring may not be able to, so I plan to eventually get super-duper lamp sockets and then upgrade to 130W highs. If these lights are aimed properly, oncoming traffic will have no issues. Until you forget to dim......

ARe you getting the Cibie 40 series (tango)? that's what I mounted on my grills. Do you need brackets for them? They are bright enough that you can't see oncoming car lights until you physicaly see the car's lights. No more looking for glare off trees and guard rails. They are perfect! Careful in the twisties. Its easy to blind oncoming cars.

hey Noah, if those are the ones that Dan sells, then yes. Do you have 100w bulbs in them? Where can I get some brackets?
yeah superman, Tyson is cool dude, it would be a blast to live in LA and get to hang out with all the great p-cars fans out there, plus the backroads there are the BOMB.

Yeah Grady, I wouldn't do that for long with the stock setup, but I'm running a pair of 40 amp relays. Only a few milliamps of current going through the dimmer switch. Good thought on the grounds. I'm sure many people don't even think about that end of the equation!

Speedy1 just do a search for Dan Stern and you can get everything you need.
What I am looking for now is some brackets for the horngrills as I want to mount lights there, does anyone know where to find some? Thanks!

James, I made my own set. I can make you a set too. You will have to cut your horn grills to make them fit.
Here is a thread where I made my own. Tell me about early 911 fog lights Here is another good link with some info from another board member who can make you a set. horn grill rally light brackets I have also seen a flat bracket that mounts to the top bolt of the battery box and does not require the grill to be cut. Jamie I didn't see any pic of a kit that mounts to the battery box?? Do I have to cut the horn grill? Finally, the lamps I am going to run are from Dan and I will have 100w bulbs in them. They may be a little bigger than the stock ones... thoughts?

If you replace your H5s with H4s can you use your original trim ring or do you have to paint the ones that come with the H4s Thanks
