Smitty, it was our pleasure having you here. thank you. Let us know when you come back to town. Sure you can't make it? Its not that far of a drive for you... To the airport that is.

Oh, and... Of course, we have fun here. Is there any other way to go through life?

Count me in for sure as long as it's not pouring. As lousy as the weather was last night, this morning turned out great and the Porschedillo car show was a success.

I'm planning to meet at 8 at the Brodie Starbucks.

What a great day. We drove about 150 miles and had a great time. Started the drive on time with 6 cars. 3 early 911s, an SC, a 951 and a Triumph TR6. German/British face off in the lot. Flat-6 or inline-6 you decide.

The route was changed a bit when one of my selected roads was nothing but dirt, I don't see how it was called a road. No problem. no one seemed to mind the water crossing too. High speed antics.

Breakfast in Blano

We stopped a Ron Maxwells shop. Ron is best know in these parts for fantastic paint work. His resume includes all the body work on the Kitchak ST (#002) that had honors at RRII.

Thanks to RazorRacer for making the trip from Houston. No its not too far to travel for good roads. For those who thought it would rain... You missed it.

We even had our own tech session when the 951 lost a coolant hose. Thankfully the owner decided to stop at a campgound and we "borrowed" a section of garden hose that stopped the leak and got him home. yes, many jokes about the benefits of air cooling from the 911 owners abound.

Stay tuned for the next one.
