You mean a coupe with a chopped top, for less frontal area? I've seen it done.

Indeed...the factory used just such a windshield to come up with the one used on the GT1.....

It would be a really good thing to do and save a otherwise good top damaged shell. I really like how it looks, gives a very menacing I am coming to get you look.

yep.
it wouldn't be too difficult..basically get a repro speedster windshield...get the rubber surround for a 911, then remake the metal surround for the old 911 coupe top....all while lowering the roofline.. it'd be very 356 looking when done. sjd

The last pic is add on hard top I assume. A chopped coupe would look different....maybe cooler? Anyone good at Photo-Chop?

Yea, that 912 is nice, although it suffers a bit from the 996 humpback look. I like it just the same.

the 912 rear window needed to be a bit more flush at the top, but it does look sweet
