Stupid Autotrader question...

How am I missing this? I cannot find a way to search for cars older than 1981. I am looking for an early 911 or SC and can't go older than '81. How? Thanks.

Just what I was looking for. I guess I'm gonna be a "collector" now.

Richard, What's the status of the 993? Are they going to fix it? Just curious if you are shopping for something new.

993 is getting fixed, but it will take a while and when it's all done, I will have far too much money into that car to risk it on the track again. My old house is about to be sold and I will pick up a cheap older 911 to play with on the track and keep the 993 for street and chasing ladies.

BTW, that webiste is infuriating, as I cannot click the back button after looking at a car without having to reenter all the search criteria. It just goes back to the page expired message. There's a cheap SC in the Post today I'm checking on.

Yes, I know what you mean -- if you make sure you open the car detail page in a new window you'll find it tolerable.

If, by chance there are some who don't know how to open a link in a new window when viewing a web page:

On a PC, move the mouse so the cursor is over the link, right click; scroll down the menu and choose "Open link in new window."

On a Mac, move the mouse so the cursor is over the link, click and hold the mouse button down till the little window opens with the box that gives you the option to open the link in a new window.
