Faded window trim
I know this subject has been raised before, but after searching I couldn't find all my specific answers.
My window trims are all different colours. The windscreen and rear windows are silver (I don't know if they were originally black) Door frames are grey (they were black) and I have one grey and one black quarter window. 1) I had the door trim off the other day and couldn't see how to get the actual window frame out. 2) Is it possible to get the trim, done in silver (chrome). Is this anodised or chrome plated? 3) Has anyone used the Wurths paint, with pics and does it chip? 4) Do you have to remove the quarter windows, and front and rear windscreens to get the trim off, or does it just pull off, and push back on again? Thanks ![]()

I can only answer question #4.....the window trim cannot be inserted back into the rubber weatherstrip without removing the entire apparatus. The trim must be fitted into the rubber first and then the whole thing placed onto the glass prior to installing in the car frame. It's a PITA!!! If you want to avoid this experience, try to do something (freshen up the trim finish) with the trim in place "as is".
