Porsche Crest The NOT so shiney Porsche picture thread.

We always see the shiney like new ones.
Let's see some that are not so pretty. Everything from faded paint and rust to an encounter with a tree or ? will qualify

My car is starting to fade and oxidize a little on the hood and there are a multitude of stone chips but with a fresh coat of wax it looks great from several feet away.

My project in the beginning…

Unfortunately the car was wrapped in tarps for the delivery which caused enough damage that I’ll have to re paint her (next month’s project). But I’ve got her 3.0 with Webbers fired up and she is coming along nicely. She’ll be on the road by the time the snow melts

Here's a 75 Carrera that had been sitting right there for about 15 years.

Anybody know the story behind that tangerine crash. That is amazing looking. It deserves a story, no doubt.

Here's what mine looked like when it came home. It's stripped down now to get ready for some body work and a bare metal respray.

I see shinyness under dust on several of those pictures, they should be disqualified.

some PO mounted this mirror without the plate that goes inside the door and it warped the hell out of the sheetmetal. The plate is there now.

One of these days I hope to pull this off and hammer it back into shape.

gotta love ten year old re-sprays
