Here's mine with floors and cabinets. The C2S is gone to make room for the '71S.

You lucky bastard. This is exactly what I picture my garage to look like in 10 years, white 911 and everything.

New garage, still a work in progress. Fridge is installed and stocked too.

Just finished workbench, floor is epoxy from Home Depot. Few more outlets and cabinets before I'm done.

The floor was only about $500! VCT tiles are about $.65 each and I have a 20'x30' garage = 600 sq/ft or about $390 in tile. Add glue, tools, etc... and it is about $500. The cabinets and lights were a bit more.

A pic in progress... just snap a straight line and start gluing down tiles...

Emission:

Agreed. Nice floor

1. What did you do at the edges, and have you had any lifting at the edges?

2. Have you replaced any tiles since you laid it?

3. Did you acid etch the floor first?

Thanks

Some very nice garages there.

Currently I have to cope with this...

But we're moving house and I have the space to be able to build my own one. So I'll soon have this...

Hey guys good thread!!!

I just bought a piece of land to build a new garage (and a house too!). Here's some of my ideas for the new garage. Any additions/modifications?

1. Must be at least 30’ deep to fit my trailer
2. Must be high enough to allow for a lift
3. Doors must be wide enough to allow for 1 and 2 above
4. It’ll have at least 5 bays
5. It’ll have plumbing for:
a. Compressed air
b. Water
c. Floor drains
6. It’ll have power outlets everywhere
7. It’ll have Cat 5 to the home’s network
8. It’ll have cable/satellite TV/audio
9. Closed circuit TV to monitor what’s going on elsewhere
10. Cross ventilation
11. Dehumidifier
12. Space for an office/lounge
13. A full bath
14. Washer/dryer
15. Utility tub and a workshop area
16. Plenty of storage
17. Monitored alarm
18. Plenty of storage

Thanks much!
