Very interesting on the intake! that is one area that we dont have many choices, what could a set of custom intakes like that could cost me? Good Work!

Hi Juan,
The TWM individual throttles will be around $3300. Not sure what labor rates are in florida so don't know what to say the plenum facrication would cost.

Hey Juan...I have seen several of your video's and I am impressed. Regarding the intake plenum, you should talk with Marty at Staggs Racing in LA. He is building an intake plenum for my type-4 turbo on my 912 project. I know that he does custom turbo work for several types of cars as well as for lots of drag racers. He was building a carbon fiber 996 drag car, but he sold it for a rail. He gets over 600hp out of a turbo 4-cylinder motor, check out these pics:

So who is building the intake ? regarless of the labor cost I haven't run into anyone that will do them, I know Norwood $ will do it, it be interesting to find out how they did the math for the cfm, I will like to think that if properly done this could allow the motor to make some serious power.
Britain Smith During all my search I did came across them and is too bad he sold it, that was going to be a nice ride, I still have hopes that someone will come up and build another 996 like bellos did or anything similar but for now we must wait and dream

ruf - I'll try and take some more pics this week.
Juan - I'm building them. This is more of a hobby for me than anything else so I really wouldn't know what to charge. How much did norwood quote you for a setup like this? Dutchie - Thanks. Haven't gotten around to compiling all the updates onto a website yet. Dean - Got the aluminum round ends from a fabricator friend. I could try and find out where he sources them.

AMACs twin turbo motor was built by Norwood. It has similar intakes. I saw his car being built there before he bought it. They are very proud of there stuff.

I can remember the price it was very long time ago but it was high enough that I pass at that time, you may want to really think about selling those, I am sure you could sell a ton of them as theres no one doing it that I am aware of, now of course if you want to donate a set for us that will earn you a spot in our sponsorship program
Jeremy964 I could use an agent or two, six figure salary, 8-5, holidays doubble time, 4 weeks vacation,15 sick days, tools and coverhauls will travel only to south america, can you fix me up

Awesome work-I love seeing "home made" fab being done. I'm jealous that I don't have the skills (or patience) to pull stuff like that off.
BTW-that 4 banger is pretty awesome looking.

Thanks again guys.
Jeremy - Would definitely be fun. Maybe when i'm done with school. Juan - I wouldnt mind making stuff like this but in this case I'd almost require that the car be present for fitment while fabricating. Here are some pics of one side completed: ![]() ![]() ![]()

I always enjoy seeing the pictures of your fabrication work - beautiful stuff. I'm curious, what are you studying in school?
