Hey Brian! The funny thing about the high resolution version is that it's about half the file size of the smaller, uncompressed one you're not having problems with.
I was thinking it may have something to do with a size limit on the .GIF processing software on your PC. The refresh rate between frames is set at 1/100 of a second, the shortest time available so the speed you see it is actually dependent on your PC's graphics card processor speed and the software that loads the .GIF file frames to it. Now I'm thinking it's a buffer size limit on your PC because that would truncate the file as it's loaded into memory. That would explain the high number of pixels version vs. large file size version acting different. Sorry I didn't reply Souk, sure copy the .gif file anywhere you want. My only issue is with somebody modifying the file itself. |
