3.6 conversion info needed

Hey upgrade guys I'm starting my upgrade from 3.2 to 3.6 in my 914-6. I have all the big stuff figured out: Engine, trans, exhaust, sheet metal, flywheel, etc. etc.

Was starting to dismantle the 993 engine today, the questions I have now are about the little stuff, such as which 993 sensors are still retained?, What little plugs and block offs do I need? Is there a list of the small stuff needed somewhere on the web?
Could someone provide a copy of Timmins instructions?

Thanx in advance, Marv.

You need all of the engine sensors.

I would buy the kit from Steve , it will include instructions and support

agree...go with the kit from Steve. You do have a great source of info right here on Pelican so you are off to a good start.

I'll third the recommendation for Timmins' kit. He put a lot of work into it.

I'm sure you were only joking about wanting to steal a copy.

Do a search for '3.6 conversion'. There area number of people here who have done the conversion without Dr. Timmins kit.

You need to call Patrick Motorsports in AZ - he eats & breathes 914s.
Also has all 3.6 conversion pieces to complete your project -

914s-R-him.

Steve Timmins pointed me to Jim Patrick some weeks ago.

Jim Patrick makes parts that are unique to the 914 needed for this conversion.

Problem is I'd like Timmins kit, but need to buy allot of the parts from Jim Patrick.

I emailed Steve today today to see what kind of balance we can strike here.
