Looks good. I think you should roll the f & r fender lips for better clearance, looking a little tight now.

Here is a couple of blurry pics of what your steel flares may look like. We have a very similar project in the works. Although this one is going to take about 2 years we think.
Not trying to hijack..... just showing you what the steel work might look like so you can get pumped up about your project.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Awesome - its going to look like a cartoon with those 18s. Are they Fuch centered? my monitor isnt good enough to tell. I have seen your old 17" fuchs centered but not 18s. My favorite paint scheme on the whole bbs.

Like you weren't fast enough already, Mikey?
![]() This is really sick. Seek professional help immediately. I'll have to stop by Jae's shop and tell him to quit being an enabler, then we will have an intervention to prevent you from emptying your wallet any further.... TT

Very cool Mike.
I can't wait to see the finished project. Unfortunately, I think I'll only be seeing the back end - dissappearing rapidly ahead of me.

![]() CCW wheels? Cartoonish? I think the only cartoon image you'll have in your head is you being Wylie Coyote with your ACME built porsche and Mike being the Road Runner in that beast...

That's beautiful.
Just beautiful. Anyone who's seen Jae Lee's dark green RSR clone will have some idea where Mike is headed. I think Jae is in the 350-hp neighborhood with his 3.8? When's the Tribute to Le Mans? You would probably have a competitive car for it. Just add a couple more Mikes as co-drivers, and stir. ![]()

Jae Lee in front in the monster-RSR. Mike right behind in the monster-RSR-to be.
![]() Another look at the prototype. I was wrong about its motor. It puts out close to 380 hp at the rear wheels. ![]() ![]() I predict 1:25's or thereabouts for Mike's new car on the big track.

Jae's car is nice. I always admire that car.... and Jack's too. I remember back when it was an RS look.
I've dreamed of RSR flaring mine, but I can't seem justify doing it until I have some serious body damage. Slider, Did you MIG weld those flares on? Tinker Last edited by Tinker; 02-19-2005 at 12:45 PM.. |
