Help !!!

I have been redoing my interior. I have got new handles. The passenger one works fine with the auto lock feature. When I put the driver side on the auto lock locks then pops right back open. I am assuming something is jambed[maybe]. Is anything anyone knows of could be the problem. Again w/passenger side on no probs. Driver side is the prob. Thanks

Are you talking about power locks or locking the door and closing it and having it remain locked. If it is the latter, the drivers side door must be locked with the key. You cannot lock and close door on drivers side. This keeps us idiots from locking keys in car. I hope this helps.

Not quite, you can close it (and it will stay locked) if you hold the latch while you close it.

I have always used my alarm to lock and unlock the doors. I did not have this problem before. So I am talking about just using my remote to lock and unlock.

I am not sure.........I had no problems prior. Again with the passanger side only locks and stays locked. When I install the driver side. Locks both sides then both side pop back open.

For future reference, don't use a subject line as vague as "Help!!!", okay?
