Front hub interchangeablility

I currently have a complete set of 69/73 front struts

I'll be updating to later struts with 3.5" caliper mounts

Can I put the hubs from the 69/73 strut on the later struts, or are they different?

They should fit fine. The "S" models in '69-73 had 3.5 bolt spacing for the alloy calipers, how late a strut are you going to use? AFAIK, the bolt patterns, spindle size and bearing races were all the same until about '89, the only thing that changed in the later years was the diameter of the grease cap over the center hole. There has been discussion of the SWB and 912 part being a different overall thickness due to unvented rotors-- see this post on the Early S Registry forum.
