Speedometer cable and front struts

Weird comination of subjects, huh? Well, I just wanted to thank the forum members for guiding me through the replacement of both. I bought my 75 911S November 2nd and drove it about 700 miles home. It has 84K on it and was owned by the same guy since 1980. Luckily the same shop maintained it and I have all the records. Of course I was too excited about getting the car to locate this forum and learn that the 2.7 engine can be a ticking time bomb. But now I spend about an hour each morning here reading and learning and I have torn down and begun rebuilding another 2.7 which I purchased. Of course pictures always look fairly good, but this car is pretty nice for being 30 years old. It was only driven 8k miles in the last 10 years.
