I need input, please help

Ok, many of you don't know that my motor has been pulled out of the car for a rebuild. It is currently a 3.2 but will be a 3.3 very soon, i purchased 3.3 turbo pistons and cylinders to drop my compression somewhere around 7.25:1 and the heads are getting a refreshed. Arp head studs will also be installed along with gt2 evo cams. I worked with my tuner Martin Muscial at AMS and Harry from Precsicion turbo and built a custom spec gt 37/40 turbo that should be able to produce 650+ horsepower for my car as well. Now the engine isnt where i need the help, we have that all figured out. I sold my 915 and purchased a short bell housing 930 trans. Now i have two options.
1. keep the stock gearing and install a limited slip and leave it at that.
2. Get a 8:39 ring and pinnion and get a limited slip as well.

The car will be on 18 inch rims street driving so im assuming it will have an effect on the mph vs gearing. But on the drag strip it will be on 16inch rims with a hoosier quicktime pro wrinkle wall tire. The car will be on the 18's for the road course events.
So heres the dilemma.
Will the stock gearing be too long?
Will the 8:39 be too short?
The car will also have a stutter box(launch control to build boost off the line)
I mean too short of gearing would make the car very hard to hook up right?
Input?

Thanks in advance
