Headers and Oxygen Sensors?
Im running B&B headers on my 86 3.2 they put the oxygen sensor on the left bank of cylinders, it is not reading the complete exhaust like the stock setup, is this ok? or should it not be used on this type of header setup?
Thanks Craig |

In gerneral it doesn't cause any problems. Now if there is an issue on the passenger side only it won't be registered or corrected by the cpu.

Check if the O2 sensor are in the same stock distance in factory headers in the B&B headers. If you put the O2 too far, it will read wrong because the will feel less heat.

Its further down stream because the stock setup places it in front of the cat, The B&B has the sensor in the collector just before the muffler, I checked the voltage of the sensor when hot and running, its right around .72 to .76 volts, seems to be within range but on the richer side.
