Jumping in with both feet (911 ownership and backdate noob)

So, after a lot of experience with the 44 series, I cashed in and bought a '77 Carrera 3 that needs a lot of attention for a reasonable investment.

Then, after spending too much time lurking here, I bought a challenged '72 roller to backdate the '77 for darned-near the same investment. Pretty soon I won't be allowed to play with you guys anymore, if this continues!

But I digress: Here are some pictures of the two AENSCs (as P.J. O'Rourke taught me to affectionately refer to them at work) that I've obtained to combine into something that suits my particular tastes...

And, understandingly so, I WILL be selling any and everything that is left from the '72, and unused parts and majority of the interior of the '77 to attempt to recover SOME of this initial investment! Let me know if you need anything - I'll update as things are prepped for sale, of course.

Check out the pics and tell me I'm in trouble, I'm a genius, or I'm a blasphemer for molesting a Carrera3, whatever...

molesting a Carrera 3.0? nah, but you sure sure are molesting the '72, which looks to be like a suitable track car project!

welcome to the 911 board! I think you're better off selling the '72 to someone to restore and just buy backdating panels for the C3
