'88 3.2 with 10.3:1 CR in a 2350lb '76 - about 20mpg around town and 24mpg on the interstate.
My old 2.7 with headers and Supertrapps got about 23 city/27 highway. Mike

I get a fairly consistant 20+/-1 mpg per tank full out of my 2.0E with MFI.

Wow, 20 mpg with MFI? That's great! I have averaged about 14 with my '72 2.4 T. I can get as much as 18 on a long, steady freeway run. Or as little as 9 to 10 on a DE day.

14.26403 at today's fill up. I was getting 18 avg. before engine rebuild. I put Elgin cheater cams in and colder plugs. It goes like scat and I drive it now in the higher RPM range 4-5500 around the city.
3.0 SC with CIS.

I think 32 venturis would be way too small for this engine. I switched from 34 to 36 and the motor thanked me for it. ...gave it longer legs.

I get almost dead on 10mpg, too, with a 2.0L engine with S-cams and non-S pistons/valves, etc. Its *very* peaky with the power, so I'm never driving much below 5000rpm.
At least it means I can say my 16mpg truck is, in fact, my economy car

My engine is all stock except for a Fabspeed cat-bypass and a borla muffler (single in - single out) and I ge about 12.5 with stop and go Fwy run of 13 miles to work. Oh, and this is with my oxy semsor disconnected. with it connect it is about the same milleage but with the cat bypass the sensor causes the car to surge at low RPMs.
I have had my car checked for all possible causes for my low mileage but this may be mostly due to the stop and go traffic and the crappy gas we have in California. :-(

15 mpg in country, windy road driving, with a 3.0 with webers. But my car weighs 2100 lb.

About 16 city (with fun areas) around 22 highway.
Stock 81 SC. I was only getting around 12 but found out one of the spark plug wires was off. |

17-18mpg in my 77 911 2.8L portedheads E cams 9.5 CR 40IDAs webers34mm . this is my daily driver to work 26 miles.freeway and lots of stop and go traffic.

'69 911S with Supertec 2.6 MFI hotrod engine, good for 225hp or so. I get right at 8 mpg. Thats on the track though, so either WOT or getting that way soon...

My stock 3.2 gets about 20 mpg in town and 24-25 mpg on the hwy. Pushing her fairly well too. Now if I really push hard, my mileage will vary.

83 sc, stock, avg 19.314 mpg since 4/26/02, combo city and highway....lowest was 15.561 (Aug 02), highest 23.312 (Jan 03).

Going based on my first half-tank I've burned so far, it's somewhere around 18-20mpg.
2.2 with Zeniths. Doesn't idle or decelerate the nicest, but it runs pretty good at speed.
