Arrow *ALIGNMENT - post Elephant install - specs

Alignment after Elephant install -

Got your reading glasses on? Ridiculously hard to read:

2.2 neg camber front, 2.8 rear.
This was the max they could get side-to-side

Blend this post with these others:

* CORNER balanced - numbers from this...and the weight

* ELEPHANT rear suspension install *

* Elephant polybronze bushing INSTALL -

Are you using the elephant upper monoballs? 2.2 is really good. I was able to get -2.0 using the wevo camber king mono ball set up.

I bought the Smart Racing m-ball setup --- RIGHT before Hayden came out with his setup.

I wish I had more than 2.2 up front - especialy since the JRZ struts supposedly ahve 1+ degree negative camber built in.

Don - How well does 2.0 work with the Proxes RA/1s?

You can always add the Elephant Racing offset ball joints. I have them, and they supposedly yield up to 3/4 degree of additional negative camber.

2.2 is much more than a factory setup would allow, so yes your spindles are de-cambered.

2.2 is more than I run in front, and I sometimes think I'm running too much negative.

How far would u go for a street/track car? I was thinking -1.6 -1.8on the front was already a lot.... -2.2 must wear your tires up very very quickly...

I've been running about 2.0-2.2 for a year now.

For some street use and lots of track use with A032R tires, it has yielded perfectly even wear across the tread.

YMMV, depending on use and tires -

Hey Craig....your (reminder) post quoting A032's reminds me of the long-lost discussions we had with the "Toddler" on Rennlist....

Ahh....the old days !!! ..... LOL !

Depends on how wide your tires are also. I just aligned my today, with just monoballs and stock mountings, and the most i could get was -1.6 in the front.

There won't be an 'exact' one -- just take your pick on the Axis of Compromise.

I have 3 degree's (raised bilsteins with camber added) in the front and 2.5 in the rear. I love it. Strictly for a race car though

Jack, I don't think that's true. You're running -2.25 up front, IIRC.
