cruise control delete question 86 carrera
I have an 86 Carrera that is mostly a track car. I pulled the cruise control unit off the engine and noted there were two hoses and an electrical connection on the servo unit. No info in the Bentley Manual on the hoses. There were no fittings on the hoses and they just pulled off, so I'm assuming they are vacum hoses. My thoughts are just plug them, zip tie them down and I'm done.

Just plug the small diameter hose at the "tee" where it comes off the engine. The other hose that is attached to the servo goes nowhere; it's just a vent.

Pmillikin, If you don't want the servo cable anymore, I am trying to restore my cruise. PO took it off and lost it.
