The thing that blew me away was when I was at Eurotech, the upholstery guy said that their goal was 'to finish it today'. That meant Friday. Then he was blah blah blahing about how he did some lumbar thing for your seats.

Doesn't that imply that the car would be DONE?

Honestly, one (minor) reason why I did not do widebody/color change/etc on my car was I am so sick of babysitting idiots on projects - mostly unrelated to cars (remodeling, concrete work etc) - that I no longer have the patience for it.

Most are clueless, sloppy and don't give a damn.

Honestly, I feel for Dane, the anticipation would kill me. But, if this is the only major snag with a vendor, that ain't bad.

Having said that, the upholstery guy should PAY

2am...I have been home 30 minutes. Everyone form Eurotech started at 8AM this morning. I showed up and started pitching in around 11AM. Alex showed in the afternoon. No breaks past pizza and tacos, on the run all day long. I was the only one to leave the shop in that time frame to get gas for the fuel cell. We just finished the car....it is awesome. See ya at the XXX in the morning with custom seat inserts obviously done elsewhere

Huge thank you to all involved, Mark Jeff and Phil from Eurotech!

More to come.

When I see that picture, I start thinking illicit thoughts about the blue women on Star Trek...

What a great car! I very impressed with the drive and the attention to detail displayed. Congrats!

I like how it seems like the 911 has become sort of a "canvas" for us to play with. Danes peice is very unique. I really like the color.

Am I the only guy to see the irony of the car's first big event being in the pouring rain? When one of the more major mods was the deletion of the rain gutter?? LOL

I like the comparision rear 3/4 shot. The deletion smooths up the lines, very nice!

So how wet does it get without them Dane??

Thanks Jake. Only down side to the rain gutter delete is you need to wipe off the top of th cabin roof if it has standing water before you open the door. If not you do get some water on the sill. No big deal even here in a little Seattlle drizzle. Not like if was flowing in. Car is water tight other wise.

Tiny bit of extra care and you'll never notice it was my take from the first rather damp adventure with the "new" car.

Did you catch the finished weight? 2134#!!

Cool. That's 7.62 punds per hp! At the wheels! Whoo hoo!

You'll need Hoosier dirt stockers in the rain!

Damn....my Varioram now needs 313 at the wheels with the same fuel load.....

Gonna be quick!

The 930 is about 5.9 at the same fuel load.
