Lightbulb How about frequenty asked question in the drivers lounge?

How about changing the Drivers lounge to frequently asked questions. Where info that's asked a lot would just stay there.

What's Euro ride height for instance. You can't reply just find info.

Is this a good idea or do I need another cup of coffee ?

It is a good idea, but much like the search function it would be largely ignored.

I've often thought a compendium of knowledge from these boards on common issues would be a great idea. The only problem is that 1. it would take a lot of time to compile it all and 2. there would probably be a lot of overlap with 101 Projects.

The search function is always good of course but it's time consuming.
I gone in there to find something simple out and get side tracked reading about who knows what for quite awhile.
I don't mind when the same questions get asked over and over
it's just how things are, we don't all know the same stuff.
I just know theres a better use of the DL link.

So I was thinking if we had access to common stuff that gets asked a lot it might be useful.
Of course there are many Porsche models to cover so I'm not sure how that would be addressed.

Another idea would be to use it for an upcoming event's or get together link ?

I'm feeling creative today

Good idea

There could also be a beginers page that with them on it that one is automatically directed to when joining.

It would be m=nice to have smarter search engine - since Google wants to organize the world's information, shouldn't they provide Wayne a free engine??

Very good idea....I spend a lot of time with the search function and if I don't get the query close enough can not find the threads that I know are there.......
