That's pretty cool.
Question - would a 3.2L get enough cooling air in the bay of a Vanagon? I don't see any louvers at the rear. I guess the aircooled Vanagons had air intakes up on the C-pillar - oops, D-pillar - but what about the wasserboxer ones? Suppose you drilled a bunch of 3" to 4" holes behind the license plate and bumper, would those admit enough air, given that (I assume) they're in a negative pressure zone?
