I've been contemplating this as well, and have heard that if you are changing from an SC to a Carrera valance, you need a different windshield washer fluid reservoir. Something to keep in mind...

Does the Restoration Design valence w/out holes for fog lights have holes for mounting a license plate?
Yes. It has the correct factory-looking square holes and impressions for mounting the front license plate. Nice piece.

Garage
I bought a 74 valance from Ebay to backdate my 87. Bolted right up. And I think SC fogs do mount to the valance on a stalk, but I could be wrong.

From SC to Carrera or from Carrera to SC?

Sushinov,

Nice looking ride. If your valance was originally designed to have fog lights, I think it would have three holes on each side for the light mounting brackets and wiring.

I'm debating on going with a clean-look, non-fog light valance like CConnor or perhaps updating to a Carrera version with the recessed fog lights. However, since I never really used the fog lights on my SC maybe I'll go with the no fog type.

Here it is. There definitely are no holes for the SC fog light brackets. Who uses fog lights anyway?

No holes for the spoiler eh? And holes for the front license plate...I am looking for the opposite. Looks like a nice piece though.

Wonder if there is a part number for the club sport piece?

Bueller?

That is a nice looking piece Crachian. Is it for a Carrera, or an SC? How much was it if I may ask? Is it galvanized? How does the gage of the metal compare to the OEM piece? You'll need to bend those mounting brackets up...

Off to the powder coaters!

$160 + shipping from Restoration-design.com. I can't offer a good comparison in weight because the mangled valance from my car has the factory undercoating so it's a lot heavier. This piece can't weigh much more than about 10 lbs. though.

Jeff, here's what I would suggest: place your order throught RD's website and note the urgency. You'll get a call back.
