Thought about that but most have been curb warriors...I want something that just needs to be shot with paint and no body work...

If you're not in a hurry, I will have one with no fogs, and no license holes. I want to leave it on until I backdate though.

www.restoration-design.com makes them. I don't think our host sells them. I bought some sheet metal from them a few years ago, & the pieces were well made. They are hard to contact. I had to call several times. Good luck, Craig

Jeff,
It may be a month before I'm ready to take it off. It depends on a couple of other projects. Mike

Does anyone know if new ones come with license plate holes?
Repro ones are about $160 - Any idea OEM cost? -Jeff

For a lower valence without fog light holes, why not use a valence for an SC? Other than the fog light holes, they should be the same.

Yea, I don't think there is an '84-89 valance with no fog holes, but the SC valance is the same except without holes.

Yep, there's a Carrera valance without holes. The Carrera Club Sport came with one.
I ordered mine from Restoration Design and expect it to arrive any day now. It was a real pleasure dealing with Bill; I don' t understand people's complaints. The price was right and I think around what someone mentioned (~$150). For that price, why mess around? You easily could eat up two hours straightening/stripping/prepping for primer one from a junkyard.

So no fog holes, no license plate holes and holes for the lip spoiler... Is this what you got? The club sport is the look I am after. -Jeff

I know the SC valence did not have fog holes but they did mount fogs to the valence - are there any attachment points?

I believe they mounted the fogs to the bottom of the bumper, but there may be a small hole for the wiring to pass through. I'm not certain of that.

The valance arrived today from RD. That was quick.
It's a very nice piece, ready to scuff and primer. I didn't mount it up, but when I held it against the car, the brackets perfectly aligned with the holes in the front latch panel. So far, I'm very pleased. If I run into any weirdness, I'll post.

"ready to scuff and primer."
I would expect it would already be primered. ![]() btw, did it come w/ a smooth finish, or the rippled / dimpled look of some of the OE valences? Can you post pix?

Apologies--I should have been clearer. Yes, it's in primer, has a nice smooth finish without the rubber undercoating stuff, and I suppose could be scuffed and painted without priming.
I'll take and post some pictures today.

Does the Restoration Design valence w/out holes for fog lights have holes for mounting a license plate?
