wich polarity for this plug please??

Here is a pic of a green wire connecting to the main wiring harness can any one tell me what is the plus side and the negative side of the main harness plug ( am making a new one and having nothing existing to go from) I ordered the green wire and should be here this weekend but I would like to have the harness done before that arrives.. Any help??

I'm not great with electronics, but can you put a circuit tester on it to see which one has juice?

Just a thought and a bump.

not sure if it is standard for the magnetic pic up as would be for wur or aar

Ben, I'm not 100% on this but I think there is a ground (sheild) and a center conductor. If that is the case then you can use a VOM and hold one lead to the distributor case and the other to the pins in the connector, you can verify this and figure out which is which.

I think the inside wire is positive and the outer is neg.

figured it out but the funny thing is that it was backwards from all the other same plugs on the wur and aar
